Kindergarten
Welcome to the Kinder Krew
Kindergarten is an exciting time for children to explore, learn, and grow! In our classrooms, we focus on building a love of learning, developing social and emotional skills, and fostering creativity. Each day is filled with hands-on activities, reading, math, and fun projects that help students discover their strengths and build confidence.

I’ve been teaching for 30 years, 23 of them in Minneapolis, and this is my eighteenth year teaching Kindergarten at Wenonah Community School. I live in the Nokomis area with my husband and our yellow lab, Stanley, and we have three adult children. I enjoy walking around the lakes, being in nature, reading, gardening, and cooking.

Hi there! I'm Ms. Katie. I teach kindergarten at Wenonah! I have been teaching for 13 years, 2 years at Wenonah. In my spare time I like to go for jogs, walk my dog, read books and spend time with my daughter.
